
A nice solid toki (adze) carved from Onewa stone. The toki is the Māori symbol of strength and provides power to achieve. The Onewa stone comes from the Hokianga and was used in traditional carvings in the northern iwi (tribes) as pounamu was scarce.
There are grooves carved in the side and it comes with a braided cord and toggle.
